In this video Spartan Boxing Head Coach, Simon Dalton shows you how to throw a power punch in boxing. He highlights how to use your legs/hips to increase the power without losing speed. He also shows how to throw it safely to minimise your opponent’s counter opportunities.
The Right Cross or Left Cross (If you are a Southpaw) is your power punch in boxing from your strongest side/hand. It works well after a Jab or sometimes a starting punch as its a longer range punch than a hook.
